Grand Opening Program

The DIB has a Grand Opening Program for businesses locating within the DIB district. We will design and mail invitations, including all businesses within a three-block radius of the new business, invite the press, bring a representative from the City Council to welcome the new business owner, and provide a ribbon for the ribbon-cutting. Visit the DIB website to review the guidelines for the program. Grand Openings take two to three weeks to plan.

Seville Antiques & Arts, located at 126 Palafox Place, offers a wide selection of artwork, vintage furnishings, decorative houseware and collectibles.  Artwork includes European Art, circa 1800 Landscapes, vintage posters, and modern day art and sculpture. Owned by Lucky B. Shams, a registered nurse from Okaloosa, the store adds the novelty of an antique store to Palafox Place.

Art Praha, located at 124 Palafox Place, features an eclectic blend of beautiful and affordable handcrafted jewelry, inspiring international photography, and fine Bohemian-Czech glass and porcelain.  Owners Radim and JY Smejkal draw their inspiration from worldwide travels, including time spent strolling the romantic streets of Prague.  According to Radim, they chose to locate in the “exciting architecture and charming art atmosphere” of Downtown Pensacola after exploring many options.
