Merry Edwards Wine Dinner at Pot Roast & Pinot

Pot Roast & Pinot is excited to announce that Adam Coopersmith, co-owner and fellow winemaker of Merry Edwards Winery, will be attending our special evening celebrating the wines of Merry Edwards. Ms. Edwards is one of California's first female winemakers and recently celebrated over 45 years in the business. She has been honored by the James Beard Foundation and has also been inducted into the CIA Vintners Hall of Fame for her dedication to small production, hand-crafted wine and site-specific viticulture. The wine pairing dinner on Tuesday, April 30 will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a reception, and will be followed by an elegant four-course meal at 6:30 p.m. featuring selections from Merry Edwards Winery. The dinner courses, crafted by Executive Chef Joe Abston, and wine pairings will include – Lobster & Scallop Ceviche (paired with Sauvignon Blanc, Russian River Valley, Sonoma, Calif. 2017); Seared Rabbit Terrine (paired with Chardonnay, Russian River Valley, Sonoma, Calif. 2011) and 18 Day Dry-Aged Bone-In Duroc Pork (paired with Pinot Noir, Meredith, Russian River Valley, Sonoma, Calif. 2016). The dessert course will feature a Papaya Shortcake with mascarpone cream and papaya “pepper” chips, and will be paired with Mango “Cello”. Tickets are $89 per person (plus tax and gratuity) and are available by making a reservation at (850) 607-7336. Space is limited. Pot Roast & Pinot is located at 11-B Palafox Place in downtown Pensacola. Lunch is served Monday through Friday from 11 am - 3 pm. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10 am - 3 pm. Dinner is served Monday through Sunday from 3 pm to 10 pm. Our late night food menu is available every Friday and Saturday night from 10:00 pm to 1:00 am.
