WolfGang Presents: Pensacola's 1st Annual Pawdi Gras

Come bark for fun as WolfGang, LLC hosts Pensacola's 1st Annual Pawdi Gras event! This year's theme will be the Ulti-MUTT Tailgate PAW-ty as we kick off Super Bowl Sunday and participate as part of Pensacola's PAW-some Mardi Gras festivities! The closed down portion of Garden Street between Tarragona and Palafox will be filled with costumed dogs and their hoomans, so dress your pet (and yourself) in your best Mardi Gras-themed or football related costumes and come enjoy a day of fun! The center of the event will be held in front of Perfect Plain Brewery and the streets will be lined with local vendors, food trucks, and local Krewes! The air will be filled with music and our benefactor, Pensacola Humane Society, will have their 2 Men and a Truck there to fill with much needed goodies for local pets in need! Plus, local pet adoption agencies will be on site to showcase adoptable pets! We will have a pet PAW-rade that will kick off at 2, so decorate your "float" with the theme to strut your mutts stuff through our parade route. Floats can be created using wagons, carts, strollers, decorated leashes, anything with wheels that does not have a motor. No bicycles or rollerblades are allowed. No motorized floats are allowed. ALL DOG BREEDS ARE WELCOME. Please no retractable leashes and no dogs in heat. Pre-Registration for the paw-rade will be available through https://secure.qgiv.com/event/pawdigras2022/ and we will also have a packet pick-up and pre-registration event at Perfect Plain on 2/12 from 5-7pm! Can't pre-register? That's okay! PHS will have a registration booth set up the day of the event from 12-1:45 so you can register then! There will be a suggested $10 donation for each pup and their hooman escorts! Don't worry, if you have a family of more than one pet, each additional family pet will be $5! This fee will be 100% donated to Pensacola Humane Society and it also gets you into the pet costume contest to win some fun prizes! Make sure to get creative with your costumes, just keep your pet's safety in mind! The first 150 dogs to register for the paw-rade will receive a goodie bag! Each pet will also get a back tag with a number on it for a keepsake! This will be a great event, even if you don't want to participate in the contest or the parade, you can still come out to enjoy in on the fun and it doesn't cost you a thing!
