Free Parking

Check the map to find free, two-hour DIB parking available daily throughout downtown. Enjoy free on-street parking after 7pm Mon-Sat. And all DIB parking is free on Sundays—including the Jefferson St. Garage!

2. Pay at a pay station

Look for DIB pay stations with the teal signs to park at DIB-managed lots, on-street parking and the Jefferson Street Garage.
REMEMBER: Have your tag number handy before paying.

Things to Know

DIB parking ambassadors strive to ensure that free parking is readily available for everyone and not monopolized, that handicapped parking is accessible and never blocked or misused, and that the downtown parking district is safe and welcoming to all visitors all the time, through the enforcement of parking laws and ordinances put into place by local, state and national government. When you have a question or need assistance, they are ready and willing to help!

If you get a parking citation, here's what to do:

Pay Online

Pay By Mail (Do Not Mail Cash)

Write your citation and plate number on the front of your payment to ensure proper credit. Make check or money order payable to: DPMD, then mail to:

Visit a Synovus Bank teller at the Downtown Plaza Branch Office or Drive-Thru located on the first floor at 125 W. Romana St, Pensacola, FL.

Late Fees

Parking citations must be paid within 15 calendar days from the issue date of the citation, or a late penalty will be assessed.

Appeal a Citation

You can appeal a parking citation any time within 15 days of the citation issue date—after 15 days, appeals are automatically denied. Submit an appeal online or by mail (postmarked within 15 days of citation issue date). To appeal a citation by mail, follow the directions on your citation. Please note: An administrative fee of $15 is automatically assessed when an appeal is denied, regardless of the reason.

Please note: As of Mar. 1, 2020, you will receive a $10 fine for your first citation. This amount will increase to $20 for the second citation, $40 for the third citation and every citation beyond that will incur a $100 fine.
