Artel is the only non-profit, all-volunteer experimental art gallery serving Northwest Florida. Our mission is to provide a continuous forum for quality experimental and contemporary art exhibitions and programs.

Founded in 1993, Artel Gallery is Pensacola's premier contemporary art gallery and the only non-profit, all-volunteer experimental art institution in Northwest Florida. Located at 223 Palafox Place in the heart of Downtown Pensacola, Artel's mission is to foster appreciation for art in its purest form — free from commercial marketability.

Through rotating exhibitions, educational programs and community events, Artel challenges artists to create work that is innovative and provocative in technique, media and content. In addition to special events, the gallery also houses the Cinco Banderas Collection, a unique permanent collection celebrating Pensacola's rich multicultural heritage. All are welcome to explore, engage, and be inspired.
