Five Sisters Blues Café will be open for our traditional Sunday Jazz Brunch on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 12, from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We will be serving from our standard brunch menu, which features a selection of starters, salads, entrées, seafood and sandwiches as well as brunch favorites: The Sisters’ Benedict, Chicken and Waffles, Smothered Chicken Biscuit, and Belgian Waffles. As always, we will have live jazz performances throughout brunch service and offer our signature Bloody Mary: vodka, Louisiana hot sauce, pickled okra, Worcestershire sauce, olive juice and black pepper — topped with a fried chicken wing! In addition to our brunch menu, Chef Josh Rich will offer special features that will be available throughout the day: Fried Green Beans Fried in our traditional fried green tomato breading, topped with Parmesan cheese and served with jalapeno ranch sauce. Grilled Salmon Served over creamy and cheesy rice grits, topped with a lemon beurre Blanc and grilled asparagus Berry Tiramisu Layered mixed berry tiramisu topped with mascarpone cheese.
