Pensacola Crawfish Festival
311 East Government Street
You may know them as crayfish, crawdads, mudbugs or by some other nickname, but crawfish season is always a cause for celebration in Pensacola, and you’ll definitely get your fill at the Pensacola Crawfish Festival, set for April in Pensacola’s historic district. Encompassing Olde Seville Square and neighboring Fountain Park, this three-day festival features the area’s largest crawfish boil, with Cordova Crawfish Company serving up thousands of pounds worth. Other Cajun cuisine includes boudin, jambalaya, etouffee, gumbo and fresh and fried seafood. But if that’s not to your taste, plenty of other festival food fare is available, as well as lots of desserts.
The Crawfish Festival also features plenty of live entertainment, with a focus on Cajun musical styles. The weekend also features a fantastic arts and crafts show.
