Downtown Improvement Board to Provide Free Trolley Service for 2026 Mardi Gras Parade on Feb. 14
Pensacola’s Downtown Improvement Board (DIB) announced it will offer a free park-and-ride trolley service on Saturday, Feb. 14, to help residents and visitors access the Mardi Gras Parade viewing area with ease.
The trolley service will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with pickup and parking available in the east (rear) parking lot of the Pensacola Bay Center, accessible via the 9th Avenue entrance. The Bay Center’s Alcaniz Street entrance will be closed to the public during this time.
“We are offering a free park-and-ride option to the community to help ease parking concerns while Palafox Street is under construction,” said Walker Wilson, executive director of the Downtown Improvement Board. “Parade attendees can park for free at the Bay Center, board the trolley, and be dropped off at the corner of Romana and Brue Streets, just steps from the parade route.”
The Bay Center’s back gate will be locked at 11:30pm and will reopen around 8:00am on Sunday.
